This mentality of looking for new clients is not uncommon. Most businesses thought that, in order to survive in such a competitive environment, we need to constantly look out for new clients. While looking for new clients is important, its not as important as taking care of your current or past clients.

So how can you generate repeat clients to your business?

Tested and proven. Send out an invitation and get all the past clients to come back and buy from you. You can give as much as 30% discount or freebies to entice them. Let your imagination flow if you intend to use this strategy.

Follow up on your client

Have they bought from you recently? How do they feel about your product? Follow up on them and find out. People tend to appreciate if a salesperson calls to find out how their products perform or how they could help their clients. Remember to tell them about your latest offer if everything goes well.

Layer Selling

Did your client buy a cheaper valued product? Do you have a product that can add more value to your clients experience? Why not let him know? Layer selling is a technique used the same way as add-ons. The only difference is that you sell them after they have bought your product.

Because bit by bit, you sell your client larger and more valuable product each time you contact him, thus the name Layer Selling.

Building Relationships First, Building Sales Later

Sometimes, you dont have to sell them the moment they step into your shop or patronize you. What you need to do instead is to build relationships with them. Make them your friend and make them feel that they can trust you.

Only than can you build a solid repeat business once they come to buy from you the first time.
